The Latest Abby Book!
The third book in the Blue Moon series, Snow Moon, is finally here! When the legendary Snow Moon whisks caterer Rachel back to 1887 Lake Tahoe, a grumpy timber baron reluctantly takes her in. . . Can they build a happily-ever-after together to transcend the centuries? A time-travel romance with a sprinkle of adventure!
Abby Rice’s life has been as adventure-filled as her heroines’. Abby spent nine months on a square-rigged sailing ship and once rode cross-country on her motorcycle. She’s built houses — and wired them, too. And in her alter ego role as an attorney, she’s battled bad guys and sought justice for victims of crime.
But first and foremost, Abby’s always been a writer. She cut her teeth in the magazine market, with over two hundred national and trade stories in print. She transitioned to nonfiction books, with two dozen now behind her. History was Abby’s primary book niche, and she especially enjoys tales of the Victorian era and Comstock Lode. And most recently, she’s ventured into historical romance.
These days when Abby’s not dreaming up new stories about hidden history and feisty heroines, she can be found scanning 1860s newspapers for forgotten bits of Victorian gossip.
More to Read!
There’s lots more Abby Rice books on the book page. Here’s a short synopsis of Abby’s first book:
The Captain’s Kidnapped Bride Paperback
Book 1 of 1: The Welsh Gift Series
The last thing Hetty Pritchard ever wanted was a husband. Until a joke-gone-wrong lands her aboard an unfamiliar schooner headed for Jamaica — with the Captain himself snoring in the bunk beside her.
Now a ruined woman, Hetty has no choice but to accept the grouchy mariner’s reluctant solution: a temporary fake “marriage.” Purely for show, of course.
And if navigating a ship-full of men, pulling off a fake relationship with a total stranger, and making her way back home weren’t troubles enough? Add in troubling wisps of ‘second sight.’ And an unexpected simmering attraction to her new, fake husband.
